Matt Young, President

Matt Young brings over 20 years of experience in the construction and utility industries, with a strong background in managing large-scale EPC and construction projects. After a successful career with a major engineering firm, he joined PowerGrid Services in 2020 to help launch GridTech, LLC. Under his leadership as President, GridTech quickly grew into a leading name in substation and transmission drilling.

In 2023, Matt was named President of PowerGrid Services, where he now leads a team of 2,200 employees across 16 operating groups nationwide. He’s known for his decisive, results-driven leadership and ability to build strong, high-performing teams.

Outside of work, Matt is a proud girl dad, community sports coach, and outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf.

Daniel Sexton, Chief Operating Officer

Daniel Sexton has over 28 years of hands-on experience in the utility and powerline construction industry. Starting his career straight out of high school, he worked his way up from groundman to journeyman lineman before transitioning into leadership roles in 2006. He joined PowerGrid in 2017 as VP of Transmission Construction and was promoted to COO in 2020.

As Chief Operating Officer, Daniel oversees all company operations and drives growth across PowerGrid’s transmission and distribution divisions. His leadership is grounded in field experience, operational excellence, and a strong commitment to safety.

Daniel’s management style is shaped by his faith and his passion for supporting and uplifting the people around him. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and being active outdoors.

Andrew Gay, Chief Financial Officer

Andrew Gay joined PowerGrid in January 2022 as Chief Financial Officer, bringing over 30 years of finance and consulting experience across North America, the UK, and Australia. A former Chartered Accountant with KPMG, he has worked across multiple industries including energy, oil & gas, high-tech, and financial services.

Andrew holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from the University of Technology, Sydney. He is also a CPA and an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Outside the office, Andrew enjoys skiing, golf, and swimming, and stays actively involved in his community—particularly supporting nonprofits focused on children with learning differences.

Mandy Dunkin, Senior Vice President

Mandy Dunkin joined PowerGrid in 2016 as one of the company’s founding team members, helping shape its early growth from a six-person startup into a leading name in the utility industry. With a background in the utility sector and an MBA in progress at the time, she first served as Director of Administration before moving into business development leadership roles.

Now as Senior Vice President, Mandy leads customer and partner relationships, represents PowerGrid at industry events, and identifies growth opportunities that align with the company’s turnkey service model.

For Mandy, watching PowerGrid grow from vision to reality has been a true joy—and she continues to fuel that momentum with a passion for connection and strategic growth.

Jennifer Motley, Senior Vice President & President, CSR

Jennifer Motley joined PowerGrid in 2019 as Business Development Manager, where she helped grow the Collective Strategic Resources (CSR) portfolio. Promoted to Vice President in 2022, she now leads CSR exclusively—managing key utility partnerships and advancing PowerGrid’s national strategy in the event response market.

Jennifer is passionate about driving social impact, empowering teams, and building a purpose-driven culture. Her leadership is rooted in integrity, humility, and a strong commitment to service.

With a background in fleet operations at Diversified Services and Volt Power, Jennifer brings a sharp operational mindset to every initiative. For her, supporting disaster response efforts and helping restore power during critical times is both a professional mission and a personal calling.

Devon Bergeron, Vice President of Business Administration

Devon Bergeron joined PowerGrid in 2021 as Marketing Director and quickly became a driving force in strengthening the company’s brand and business strategy. In 2023, she was promoted to Vice President of Business Administration, where she now leads key initiatives that support cross-functional operations and company growth.

With over 25 years of experience and an MBA in Project Management, Devon brings a people-focused, solutions-driven approach to every challenge. Her high-energy leadership and strategic mindset have made her a trusted voice within the organization.

Outside of work, Devon is passionate about giving back. She serves as President of the Board for Rapahope, a nonprofit supporting families affected by childhood cancer.
